GAINESVILLE, FL – Following its successful primetime television premiere and a packed public screening at the University of Florida, Redfruit Media is thrilled to announce that the documentary special, “WUFT at CES 2026: Megabytes & Vegas Nights,” is now available for streaming on PBS.
The hour-long special, hosted by Appleosophy contributor Jacob Sedesse, offers a “raw and candid” look at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show. The program takes viewers on a journey through the Las Vegas Convention Center, spotlighting the latest breakthroughs in robotics, artificial intelligence, and the Florida-based innovators making waves on the global stage.

The documentary was produced in partnership with Redfruit Media, with CEO Holden Satterwhite and COO Christopher Grainger leading the project as field producers and featured on-screen contributors. The crew also included Appleosophy’s Tristen Menzies, who provided filming support and on-screen commentary, and Taylor Cole, who served as a production assistant and camera operator. By combining their collective filming and editorial expertise, the team successfully managed the massive scale of the Las Vegas event to deliver a finished hour of television on a strict three-month timeline.

In coordination with the streaming debut, Jacob Sedesse has published a feature article on Appleosophy detailing the documentary’s production journey from a personal and technical perspective. The piece recounts Sedesse’s transition from an undergraduate reporter at the University of Florida to leading a specialized team for this hour-long special, sparked by a chance meeting with Redfruit Media leadership at CES 2024. This “behind-the-scenes” account explores the “process journalism” used to capture the reality of tech reporting, the logistics of managing nearly 700GB of 4K footage, and the story behind high-profile interviews with industry figures like iJustine and Bridget Carey.
