Privacy Policy
Takes effect August 2, 2026 · Version 2026.1
What’s changing
We've rewritten the Privacy Policy in plainer language, with clearer sections on what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep contact form messages.
1. Who we are
Redfruit Media LLC and its subsidiaries (together, " Redfruit Media," " we," " us," or " our") operate media and technology properties. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use websites and online services that link to this page (the " Services"), including redfruitmedia.com.
Some of our brands currently link to this corporate Privacy Policy. Brand-specific policies may replace or supplement this notice later for those properties.
Where privacy laws apply to us (including, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation), we aim to handle personal information in line with those laws.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on how you use the Services, you may provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Mailing address
- Message content and form topic selections
- Other details you choose to share
Not every site or form collects all of these fields.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, links clicked, and referring URLs
- Date and time of visits
- Cookie and similar technology identifiers (see section 6)
Information from service providers
We may receive information from vendors that help us run the Services (for example hosting, security, email delivery, or analytics), consistent with this policy.
3. How we use information
We may use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide support
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services
- Send service-related messages and, where appropriate, marketing you can opt out of
- Understand how the Services are used
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us run the Services (for example hosting, email delivery, security, analytics), under obligations to protect it
- Professional advisors (such as lawyers or accountants) when needed
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to enforce our terms
- A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (with notice where required)
We may also share information that does not reasonably identify you (aggregated or de-identified data).
5. How long we keep information
When you send a message through our contact or advertising forms on redfruitmedia.com, we store the details you provide—such as name, email, phone number (if given), topic, and message—so we can respond and keep a short record of the conversation.
Those form submissions are automatically and permanently deleted 90 days after they are received. If you want a message removed sooner, or a copy of what we hold, please contact us and we will act on your request where we can.
Other information (for example analytics data held by service providers, or operational logs) may be retained for different periods based on operational need, legal requirements, and provider practices. We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep the Services working reliably
- Remember preferences
- Understand traffic and usage
- Support security features (for example bot protection on forms)
- Support advertising or measurement on some properties that link to this policy
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Services work.
7. Advertising and analytics
Some Services that link to this policy may use analytics tools or advertising partners. Those partners may set their own cookies or collect usage data to measure performance or show ads, and may combine data from our Services with data from other sites.
Where those tools are used, you may be able to limit interest-based advertising through your device settings, browser controls, or industry opt-out pages (such as tools offered by the Network Advertising Initiative or major advertising platforms).
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can:
- Contact us to exercise privacy requests, subject to legal limits and verification
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, or by contacting us
- Control cookies through your browser
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law.
9. Childrens privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. Information submitted through the Services is transmitted using encryption (such as HTTPS/TLS) where supported.
Access to personal information is limited to people and service providers who need it to do their work for us.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Security incidents
If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs and notice is required, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected individuals and, where appropriate, post a notice through the Services. We aim to do so within 7 business days of determining that notice is required, or sooner if law requires.
12. International visitors
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from another country, information you provide may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection rules than your country.
13. Links to other sites
The Services may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own. We are not responsible for those sites. Read their policies before providing information to them.
14. California notice
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law regarding personal information, including rights to know, delete, and correct certain information, and to opt out of certain sharing, subject to exceptions.
You can visit the Services without creating an account. We post this Privacy Policy so it can be reached from the site (including via a "Privacy" link in the footer where the Services provide one).
To make a California privacy request, contact us. We will verify requests as required by law.
15. Email communications
If we send commercial email, we aim to:
- Avoid false or misleading subject lines and sender information
- Honor unsubscribe requests promptly
- Include a clear way to opt out of future marketing email
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the version or effective date shown above. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
Where a change is material, we may also provide additional notice (for example a banner or notice on the Services).
